The Parkland community is less than two minutes from the parkway, three minutes to all of the shopping, dining and entertainment of downtown Redmond, five minutes to the Redmond airport or St. Charles hospital, and only 15 minutes from Bend!  Which makes Parkland incredibly convenient for people who work in Bend but don't like the traffic there, or those who travel and want quick access to the airport.  Convenience is a major benefit of choosing Parkland.

Recreation: Convenience matters because it gives us more time for things like relaxing and having fun!  The huge Umatilla Sports Complex is a half mile away, and then there is the gorgeous Canyon Trail five minutes away.  For some more serious hiking, biking and climbing, Smith Rock is 20 minutes up the road.  And don’t worry, skiers and boarders, Mt. Bachelor is still only 40 minutes away and Hoodoo ski area is 50 minutes away!

Of course, indoor recreation matters too.  The nightlife and events, great local eateries and breweries of Redmond are a few minutes away.  Or head in to Bend 15 minutes away.  Parkland puts you close to it all, while still feeling like a secluded community.
